Orchestra curriculum is centered on learning to play a string instrument. The orchestra will study a varied repertoire of music: classical, folk, fiddle, movie theme, and popular styles. The course will also include composition, music history, listening, and music theory.

General Music curriculum is centered on learning music theory, music history and music appreciation. The students will study a varied repertoire of music.  6th grade will learn fundamental music theory as well as music from different cultures. 7th grade will review music theory as well as American music history including the history of rock and roll, jazz, and blues. 8th grade will study European classical music history including baroque, renaissance, classical and romantic music.
